The professional services department customizes the Enterprise product for a global customer base to ensure their specific needs are addressed in the product. As part of our expansion to the professional services and customizations teams, the company is looking for project managers to join the R&D center in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Project Lead
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of the projects from the inception to the rollout
- Communicate with customers, identify their problems, and suggest sound solutions
- Estimating feature deliverables
- Define the requirements in the standard requirements specification documents
- Plan and execute the full project by following the defined processes and best practices
- Monitor and make course corrections during the implementation stage and make sure the project is well handled within its constraints
- Work with the customer and finalize the product, then rollout the system to production
- Handle multiple projects for the same customer and manage such products to ease maintenance in the long run
- Manage multiple projects at the same time at different stages
- Provide reports to the management about the cost and profit of each project periodically
- Mentor and guide the team members and help them climb up in their career paths
Qualification / Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree preferably on IT/CS streams or equivalent
- Experience in prior software project management or experience in any managerial position dealing with projects with constraints
- Certifications or trainings in project management are an added advantage
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Thorough understanding on project management skills and how to manage projects within the constraints scope, cost and time and deliver quality products
- Experience / ability on customer communications and negotiations on scope
- Prior experience working with foreign customers is an added advantage
- Prior experience in customizing an existing product instead of developing from the scratch is an added advantage
- Excellent people management skills
