SLT Rainbow Pages which is a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC is the nation's most admired flagship inforation provider that disseminates directory information via multiple sources such as Print, Web, Mobile Web, Mobile App, e-Directory, CD and Call Centre. The Company is looking for a Content Writer on part-time/freelance basis to produce quality articles / documentation that contributes to success of our Tourist & Wedding Directories.
Content Writer
Responsibilities:
- Write easy-to-understand user interface texts, and contents
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the documentation requirements
- Visit clients to interview them in order to get valuable information to complete write-ups
- Visit various locations as and when needed to gather in-depth information
- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standard regarding the order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- REview published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and method of reproduction
- Select necessary photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts to illustrate material
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in technical writing, journalism or related area
- Hands on experience in writing creative articles, letters, blogs and copy writing
- Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Working knowledge of MS Office packages
Remuneration will be on pay-per-write up basis and will be attractive
