Business Analyst - Software Services

Group Business Operations: Group Business Control

Reporting to: Assistant Manager - Business Control, Group Business Operations

Principle Responsibilities:

• Liaising extensively with external or internal clients / stakeholder during the requirement gathering and functional designing phases to identify the requirements accurately
• Work closely with client to examine existing business models and the functional flows of the business
• Creating and proposing logical and innovative solutions to complex problems in order to solve them within minimum impact to the business operations
• Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them to ensure both technical and business sustainability
• Do the functional designs for the new IT Solutions to improve business efficiency & productivity by understanding the customer perspective and realizing the how value gets created
• Present the functional design to client and once approved & work closely with the client team to implement the agreed upon solution
• Working closely with software engineers / developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
• Assisting / writing user manuals and help documents when required to address documentation requirements
• Assisting in preparing and performing detailed application training for a defined target group
• Providing training in a manner to assist users of the new system to understand how to apply the functionality of the new system to business functions
• Analysing / evaluating the user's new / change request and, making the appropriate decisions to accommodation them

Person Specification:

• Should possess a Degree in IT from a recognized university
• 2-3 years' working experience
• Should possess good analytical skills
• Should have excellent communication skills
