Network Administrator

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Expertise in web, mail and other systems on hosted in Linux platforms in a production environment with minimum downtime
• Expertise in but not limited to routers, firewalls, switches, wifi, VLANs, VPN, DNS and DHCP
• Troubleshooting on file servers, application servers, backup servers, mail servers, web servers, database servers, storage systems
• Manage network, OS and application related software inclusive of, but not limited to Ubuntu, NGINX, Apache, Postfix, Dovecot, SQUID, Dansguardian, MySQL, MariaDB, PHP, LDAP
• Writing scripts to maintain and automate functions by using one of *SH, Pearl, Python, Ruby, PHP
• Design, configure, install, maintain and monitoring including but not limited to, clustered, standalone and virtual systems using KVM, LVM, Raid, ISCSI, Glusterfs, CEPH, NBD
• Manage, maintain and restore backups, system and network monitoring including, but not limited to RSnapshot, Amanda, Collected, NTOP
• Provide technical support, training and technical documentation to the IT Team, auxiliary departments and contractors
• All other duties and responsibilities deem fit for the title of Network Administrator and responsibilities given by IT Manager
