Manager - Central Reservations & Revenue

Location: Adaaran Resorts, Maldives

The ideal candidate should be below 35 years of age and possess a Degree in Business or a Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputed institution. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity in the hotel industry is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, presentation and leadership skills, computer literacy, fluency in English and knowledge of Opera are key competencies sought.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Managing the Central Reservations operations of a portfolio of 5 Hotels
• Maximizing the hotel sales by being aware of hotel bookings
• Prepare daily forecasts and circulating it to relevant staff & circulating all relevant statistics for marketing decisions
• Assuming responsibility of the tour operators / travel agents correspondence regarding reservation decisions
• Advising the respective hotels of the reservations so a decision can be taken in regards to the room rates and the VIP status
• Being fully aware of the hotel allotments and following up with the contract conditions and cut off dates
• Updating the Hotel Data System with the contracted travel agents rates
• Coordinating with the respective Front Office Managers and settings up the over-booking margins for the normal and peak periods
• Maintaining a good relationship with all travel agents and ensuring mutual cooperation and smoothness of work
• Supervising the reservations personnel and train them using the up-selling techniques to maximize the rooms revenue
• Overseeing the revenues management and distribution strategy of the hotel managing day to day yield operations
• Handling daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
• Performing competitive benchmark studies and following market trends
• Providing daily, weekly dynamic forecasts of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
