Technical Assistant (ICT Support)
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ICT technical personnel to join a reputed ICT solutions provider to enhance skills and build a strong career. As a Technical Assistant you will be responsible for working closely with our clients, fellow technicians and engineers to provide ICT equipment and infrastructure support services to our corporate client base in both private and public sector. There will be many opportunities to be part of our projects and develop your knowledge and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair and resolve customer ICT hardware / software issues including desktop / laptop, printers/scanners, all associated peripherals and operating & applications software
- Configuration and troubleshoot of said equipment in LAN environment
- Carryout preventive service support for Desktop, Laptop and allied peripherals
- Attending and resolving all allocated job through the helpdesk and providing status updates back to helpdesk
- Accurately and timely perform maintenance of all related documents
Candidate Criteria
- Diploma in Computer Hardware with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity. Related industry certifications such as MCP, will be an added advantage
- ICT knowledge of maintaining desktop, laptop and network equipment
- Sound knowledge of Windows OS (up to 8.1) and LAN connectivity
- You will be an excellent problem solver and be able to diagnose faults, Hardware or Software efficiently
- Skills on replacing any part of Notebooks is an added advantage
- Good customer service skills
- Willing to travel on a regular basis
- Willing to work out of hours when needed
- Must be a positive minded and hardworking person
- Having a valid riding license and/or own Motorcycle will be an added advantage
- Age between 22-30 years
