Technical Officer - Hardware / Networking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily operations support functions, including problem isolation and resolution
  • Coordinate with other technical staff to implement systems and software
  • Independently configure hardware and operating systems
  • Ability to manage incidents and handle 1st level support for network, hardware and operating system issues

The Person:

  • Possession of City & Guilds IT, A+, Network+, MSCE, BCS, Cisco CCNA or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
  • Practical experience in maintaining servers and PCs with MS Windows versions and open source software
  • Experience in maintaining Windows 7, 8 and Windows Server 2008, 2012 will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years' working experience in a similar capacity
  • Should be a good team player and be able to work under pressure
  • Ability to travel islandwide branch locations when required

Selected candidate will be placed in the appropriate grade and remuneration scale based on the level of knowledge and experience.
