Technical Officer - Hardware / Networking
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operations support functions, including problem isolation and resolution
- Coordinate with other technical staff to implement systems and software
- Independently configure hardware and operating systems
- Ability to manage incidents and handle 1st level support for network, hardware and operating system issues
The Person:
- Possession of City & Guilds IT, A+, Network+, MSCE, BCS, Cisco CCNA or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- Practical experience in maintaining servers and PCs with MS Windows versions and open source software
- Experience in maintaining Windows 7, 8 and Windows Server 2008, 2012 will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years' working experience in a similar capacity
- Should be a good team player and be able to work under pressure
- Ability to travel islandwide branch locations when required
