Web Developers (Sitecore / SharePoint)

Position Overview: 

Web developers work with modern enterprise content management system to create reusable, user-friendly templates for company websites, following industry standards and best practices.

 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Produce work that is in accordance with department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures regarding content and design, and industry best practice by understanding and applying them correctly, reviewing their work and collaborating with colleagues and seeking advance from team leaders as necessary.
  • Ensure a high quality of work by consistently taking responsibility for one’s own work, reviewing it against quality standards, and consistently seeking to achieve zero quality errors.
  • Integrate web UI code (HTML/CSS/JS) to .NET based enterprise content management system in an efficient, user-friendly manner.
  • Produce and understands standards compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
  • Maintain proficiency in current versions of software used within HSBC required performing duties and seeking written certification of proficiency from line manager on least an annual basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education - either at the degree level or a relevant professional diploma or certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ASP.NET / SharePoint development in C#
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management Systems - Sitecore CMS and / or SharePoint 2013 would be an added advantage.
  • Sound understanding of Object Oriented concepts.
  • Expert-level knowledge of standards compliant HTML and xHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience using source code management systems, TDD and Continuous Integration (Experience with IBM Rational Team Concert would be a bonus)
  • Hands on experience with SQL Server, IIS
  • Experience with /Scrum or similar Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work with a global team.
  • Requires strong organisational, interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail under pressure and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Structured, systematic working style
  • Applicants must be willing to work shifts.

Salaries are based on their qualifications and working experience (Negotiable)
