Human Resources Manager

Ideal Applicant:

• Should possess a Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent professional qualifications from a recognised body
• Minimum 3-4 year working experience as a Human Resources Manager in a reputed organisation, working experience in an educational industry will be an added advantage
• Excellent command of English language
• Applicant should have a thorough knowledge about employment law in Sri Lanka
• Should be able to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
• Age below 45 years

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Recruitments - Preparation of monthly HR plan and recruitment plan of the company and make sure all recruitment needs are completed on time
• Performance Management - Monthly and Yearly employees' performance review and identification of possible areas of training and development and rewards and recognition
• Training and Development - Preparation of yearly training calendar
• Career Development - Preparation of Individual succession plan / career advancement plan for employees
• Employee Relations - Handling and Monitoring employee welfare and grievances
• Organisational Effectiveness - Review and update company HR policies and procedures and make sure such policies are being in practiced and implemented
• Organising special events, workshops to keep employees motivated and to ensure work life balance
• Attend to all types of legal / disciplinary matters in relation to employees
