Solex (Pvt) Ltd is a local manufacturing and trading company, specialising in the import and assembly of UNICO Water pumps for the domestic, industrial and agricultural sector.

In keeping with our current expansion program, we now seek dynamic individuals to fill the following vacancy.

Assistant Accountant

The Ideal candidates will be responsible for:

• Day to day operational work in the Finance Department.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and GL reconciliation
• Liaising with external parties such as banks/auditors/statutory bodies/suppliers
• Assisting in the preparation and filling of the quarterly VAT/NBT and all relevant taxes
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and other MIS reports as and when required

Experience and Qualification:

• Minimum 03 years hands on experience in a similar position
• Part qualification in ICASL,ACCA or CIMA
• A Bachelor's  degree in Accounting will be an added advantage
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and to be a good team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
