Junior Executive - Finance

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Obtain job files for invoicing by following up on outstanding jobs with relevant personnel
• Dispatch invoices as per instructions given to facilitate collection of dues in a timely manner
• Close jobs by providing for charges as per cost sheets to ensure revenue is recognised accurately
• Reconcile the income / balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis by passing necessary entries
• Preparation of reports periodically by compiling information in order to assist in management decision making
• Ensure all shipping line rates are cross checked with agent's debit notes and pass for payment

Candidate Profile:

• A minimum of 3 passes at the G.C.E. A/L examination
• A minimum of 6 credits at the G.C.E. O/L examination including English
• A Distinction pass for Mathematics at the G.C.E. O/L examination is compulsory
• Part qualification from a recognised accounting body such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA
• Sound knowledge of MS Office packages
