Head of IT
The Role:
The Head of IT oversees team of developers who design, develop and maintain the operation of a database-driven SQL with C# / .NET framework / Crystal Reports and Web Application with a specific emphasis on usability, performance and scalability. Must possess exceptional troubleshooting skills with a sound knowledge of IT Quality Assurance process and be able to assess quickly complex programming applications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of technology and instill the principles of this culture in the team of developers
- Ensure that individuals and team meet goals within the given time frames and provide highest level of service
- Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software
- Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high quality software
- Strategic planning to facilitate the achievement of business goals
- Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules and supervise project status
- Perform other duties of a similar or related level and manage or assist with special projects as required or assigned
Eligibility:
- Age above 35 years
- Bachelors Degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar capacity
- Advanced knowledge in the application of software methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
