Interns - Technical Support

We urgently require dynamic, IT savvy individuals to join our global IT support team to strengthen our presence in the US, UK and Australia. You will be based at our Global Technical Support Centre in Colombo. You will work in an ISO 20000 certified employment and your primary task is to deliver tech support to customers in the above regions. Eventually, you will also become a member of our continuous service and technical improvement teams.

Details of the Internship:

  • The Role works within 24/7 shift based operation
  • A monthly allowance of Rs.10,000/- incentives will be paid during the internship period
  • Duration of internship period is 6 Months (Monthly Renewable)
  • Transport will be provided for nightshifts
  • In-house Technical training and exams
  • Handling Desktop, MAC and Server related consumer issues worldwide
  • Handling ISO 20000 and ITIL processes and procedures
  • Exposure to world class remote management tools and technologies

Mandatory Qualification and Personal Skills:

  • Passionate about building the career in IT infrastructure management and Troubleshooting
  • First class or second upper degree in Computer Science / Networking from a recognised university
  • The right attitude
  • Fluent in English Language - IELTS / Toefl or equivalent certification will be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills to build effective relationship with all levels of professionals
  • Good decision-making, IT, and communication skills
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), (Preferred)
  • Certificate in computer Hardware and Networking or equivalent
