Project Manager - ITC

The purpose of the job role:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of all specific IT projects undertaken by the bank.

The Job:

  • Plan the project:
    Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and create a detailed work plan to ensure the timely completion of project
  • Staff the project:
    Select staff with appropriate skills for the project activities and manage them according to the established policies and practices of the bank. Ensure that the comprehensive system testing and User training are carried out prior to the live implementation
  • Implement the project:
    Execute the project according to the project plan and monitor the progress, make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project in consultation with Project sponsor / Management
  • Control the project:
    Write reports on the project for management, Monitor and recommend all budgeted project expenditures
  • Evaluate the project:
    Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality and evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

The Person:

  • Relevant Degree / MBA from a recognised University or IT related professional qualification
  • Sound planning, organising skills coupled with excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar capacity
  • Self starter with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Age should be below 45 years

Selected candidate will be placed in the appropriate grade and remuneration scale based on the level of knowledge and experience.
