Senior Web Developer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and implement in short time
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage and plan multiple projects and deliver high quality work on time
  • High attention to detail, willingness to learn, share and grow with the team

Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience building web applications using PHP and MySQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems / Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Hands on experience in CRM based development with Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal & SugarCRM
  • Proven track record of delivering business value
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of toolset and web development concepts (e.g. MVC)
  • Strong commitment in developing high-quality, maintainable code to meet complex, changing requirements
  • Experience in building tools and (HTTP) APIs used by external customers & developers
  • Familiar with continuous integration / deployment and test driven development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Experience / Skills:

  • PHP (5.3+), Symfony 2, PhpSpec (or similar back-end, testing frameworks)
  • JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, Ember.js (or similar font-end frameworks)
  • SQL (mostly MySQL / Postgres)
  • HTML5 & CSS3
  • Elasticsearch
  • SVN/Git/JIRA
  • Linux based development
  • Mobile web development and responsive web design
  • Experience of E-commerce and online retail
  • Experience of working with social media platforms
