We are looking for an experienced, energetic and self motivated individual who comply with the following qualifications and requisites to join our sales support department as the Manager - Sales Support.

Manager - Sales Support

Requirements:

  • Should be an active results oriented candidate with 5 years of continuous sales force administration experience in a reputed FMCG  Company along with sales management experience
  • Candidates aged 30-40 years, following professional examinations in Business Administration are encouraged to apply
  • Familiar with MIS
  • Experience in customer account management
  • Problem solving, conceptual and analytical skills, positive interaction, strong computer skills and the ability to use statistical tools in timely manner
  • Knowledge in sales administration systems and hands on exposure in sales event coordination
  • Very good people management skills combined for staff development and adequately maintaining motivation level subordinates
  • Willing to work extra hours without prior notice as per the requirement of the business
  • Proven communication skills in Sinhala and English (and Tamil will be an added advantage) both orally and written with customers and internal colleagues along with the ability to multitask, prioritise a variety of tasks and meet deadlines with a keen eye to detail

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should support the achievement of sales and distribution objectives of the company efficiently, effectively and economically
  • Should be able to effectively relate with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and should possess initiative and drive towards achieving divisional and company objectives
  • Makes decisions and sets strategy based on the long-term vision, inspire others to embrace and advance the strategy, and creates a clear view of the future of sales by being an innovative thinker who can use latest mechanisms to monitor & control the sales support functions
  • Consistently models and inspires high levels of integrity, lives up to commitments, and takes responsibility for the impact of one's actions
  • Meets established expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results, encourages others to do the same by effectively leveraging resources to create exceptional outcomes, embraces change, and constructively resolves barriers and constraints
