Manager – Recoveries
Job Profile:
- Formulate strategies & solutions for resolving non performing loans, workout & restructure non performing loans.
- Ensure that all NPA customers are regularly contracted and followed up to collect payments towards reduction / settlement of overdue / past due advances.
- Conduct visit for recovery of loans and verification of security when necessary.
- Contribute towards timely finalization of documentation to file legal action effectively to speed up the recovery process.
- Represent the Bank in court cases, provide evidence when necessary & deploy other officers to represent the Bank in court cases.
- Ensure valuation requirements are met as per the guidelines of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
- Annual plan for property visits, arrange visits and documentation of such visits.
- Perform administration work and other job functions are related to collections & recoverties.
- Prepare reports in a timely manner with review date.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university / institution with 7 years of post-qualifying experience in the recovery field in a Bank or Financial Institution in an executive capacity with exposure in representing the institution in legal matters.
- OR
- AIB / Diploma in Bank Management with 9 years of experience in the recovery field in a Bank or Financial Institution in an executive capacity with exposure in representing the institution in legal matters.
