Financial Accountant

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Financial Accountant (Work Level-Executive)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all the ledger accounts, update monthly provisions / accruals / prepayments on SAP and maintain up to date reconciliations of GL accounts
• Oversee the GR/IR process and monitor and overdue payments in the GR/IR balance
• Facilitate all the Debit note reimbursement recoveries timely in order to ensure all the recoveries are made on an accurate manner
• Maintain the monthly SAP entries for Salary Gratuity
• Facilitate the process of monthly Inventory provisions to SAP system after finalising the provisional write off amounts from SLOBS meeting
• Oversee Interim and Final audit by liaising with external auditors, provide detailed schedules and prepare annal statutory accounts and obtain approval while ensuring monthly statutory compliances are maintained with related supporting documents
• Oversee all tax related matters such as VAT, Income Tax, ESC & SVAT whilst carrying out timely submission of VAT Returns / NBT Returns by collecting all the information from relevant parties
• Coordinate with treasury to ensure adequate funds are available considering the cashflow projections to meet payments
• Prepare the monthly and Annual Financial Statements and support working papers

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ideal candidate would hold a Degree in Financial Management or part qualification in CA / ACCA with 2-3 years of experience in similar environment, Prior experience in an Audit firm will be an added advantage.
