Assistant Company Secretary (Manager Grade)

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Company Secretary to organise Board Meetings, Committee meetings, prepare Board papers & agendas and taking minutes of board meetings, annual general meetings (AGMs) and other Committee meetings
  • Deal with correspondence of Company shareholders under the guidance of Company Secretary
  • Liaise with external regulatory authorities such as CSE, SEC, Registrar of Companies, Department of Inland Revenue, Central Bank etc
  • Handling the Registrars function such as maintaining the Shareholder database and correspondence under the supervision of Company Secretary
  • File all relevant forms pertaining to legal and statutory requirements of the Company
  • Maintaining of statutory registers

Experience, Qualifications & Other Requirements:

  • Completed the Final exams of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators or Attorney-at-Law having the license to practice Company secretarial functions
  • Minimum of Five (5) to Six (6) years of experience in Company secretarial functional areas and out of which Two (2) to Three (3) years in the Assistant Manager Grade
  • Age between 30 to 35
  • Should be fluent in English language with excellent writing skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel is mandatory
