Expo Global Distribution Centre (EGDC), is a value added bonded warehousing facility under the free-port regulations at the Katunayake Export Processing Zone. EGDC not only functions as an entrepôt, a trading spot where merchandise can be imported and exported free of import duties but also as a services operation of multi country consolidation in Sri Lanka. EGDC offers front end services to overseas clients and functions as the headquarters of leading buyers for the management of the finance supply chain and billing operations.

Trainee Accounts Assistant

Requirements:

• G.C.E. A/L qualification
• Full or part qualification in AAT or Similar accounts body
• Computer literacy
• Familiarity with Oracle accounting system would be an added advantage
• A self-starter who can work with minimum supervision
• Willingness to work long and flexible hours would be an added advantage
• A year's experience in a similar capacity
• Age below 20 years
• Preferably a resident at Katunayake area

Job Role:

• Checking invoices related for payments
• Handling container deposits
• Payments execution for suppliers
