Audit Manager

Location: Head Office

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the annual audit plan and ensuring timely completion of assignments in support of the annual audit plan.
• Liaise with the external auditors in conducting internal audits assigned to them, as determined at the beginning of each financial year and also to monitor their compliance with the terms stipulated in the respective Letters of Engagement.
• Plan the scope and objectives of the audit, prepare appropriate audit programmes for internal audit and special assignments.
• Responsible for routine audit to ensure compliance with the company's policies, internal control, procedure and applicable laws and regulations.
• Lead audit teams to obtain, analyse, appraise information in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of business controls and information systems.
• Leading and attending with auditors to discuss and obtain audit findings and working jointly with them in developing recommendations
• Monitor the progress of the audit team and maintain high quality of work.
• Preparation and submission of regular audit reports to the management and organising audit committee meetings quarterly to present and discuss the audit reports with the members of the audit committee.

Requirements:

• Professional Qualification in CA or ACCA.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognised university would be an added advantage
• 5 - 6 years of experience in a similar capacity in a similar industry.
• Excellent analytical, advisory, report writing, presentation and communication skills, problem solving and effective project and time management abilities
• Possess good organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Possess good IT knowledge and Assisted Audit Techniques  (CAAT) would be advantageous.
