Junior Executive - Customer Relations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend to customer inquiries over the phone and respond to emails / letters in a timely manner
  • Accept booking upon space / equipment availability by obtaining necessary approvals and as per Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
  • Verify invoices received and ensure all payments made are accurate
  • Finalise booking report by checking with yard reports, operational staff, co-ordinate with customers and prepare outward cargo declarations
  • Obtain relevant details from principal system and download same to local systems in order to prepare finance and operational reports as per requirements
  • Maintain all relevant correspondence and reports in an orderly manner

Candidate Profile:

  • Three passes at the G.C.E. A/L
  • 6 passes at the G.C.E. O/L examination with Credit passes for Mathematics and English
  • Excellent command of English and Sinhala languages (written and oral)
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar capacity or relevant professional experience
