Cashier

Location: Colombo

Assist the Chief Cashier to process monetary transactions with profound acumen, and by strictly adhering to the established policies and procedures while maintaining a cordial relationship with internal and external parties, banks and other financial institutes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deposit collections: Deposit cash / cheques collections in the bank accounts daily
• Responsible for the safe custody of cash, until it is deposited
• Reconciliation of payments with relevant documents and update the system and manual records
• Manage the petty cash imprest of the Head Office as per the laid down procedures
• Attend to customer queries and provide them feasible solutions
• Maintenance of cordial relationship with customers and other financial institutions

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in cashiering including two years in a computerised environment
• G.C.E. A/L Qualification
