Accountant

Job Accountabilities:

• Preparation of monthly accounts, Quarterly CSE accounts and annual Statutory Financial statements
• Should be able to assist and provide financial guidance int he formulation of budgets
• Implement and review financial controls and policies
• Evaluate existing internal control measures and apply to accounting procedures and computer systems as per Company Policies and Procedures
• Evaluate existing internal control measures that apply to accounting procedures and computer systems as per Company Policies and Procedures
• Follow up on all Post implementation capital expenditures (CAPEX)
• Liaise with internal audit and External audit teams at bi-annual and year end audits

Skills and Qualifications:

• A high degree of organisation and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Full qualification from a recognised accounting body (ACCA / ICASL)
• Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar capacity
• An outgoing personality below the age of 30 years with good communication skills and computer skills
• Experience in SAP will be an added advantage
• Ability to work late hours under pressure
