Catering Sales Manager
Your Responsibility Include:
- The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for building, soliciting and maintaining Catering Sales relationships and to promote business
- Manages Customer Relationship through drafting proposals and contracts, responding to customer inquiries, as well as organising arrangements as they relate to social and corporate events i.e.: set up and execution of social and corporate meetings, meals and special events
- Provides direction and supervision of meeting and/or catering logistics to Catering and Conference Services Manager and other departments and team members responsible for event execution
- Represents the hotel and conducts conferences with individual customers by telephone or in-person to solicit and close group and local catering business
- Proven ability to build new business streams
- Partner with Executive Chef, Operations and Sales Team to create and manage exceptional experiences for guests
- Meets with and entertain customers, conducts property tours and promotes facilities and services
- Coordination with suppliers / vendors with an effective manner in keeping the hotel standards
- Generate Customer Service orientation
- Highly detailed, ability to effectively meet deadlines and exceed budgets and sales goals
Skills & Qualifications:
- Should be computer literate
- Excellent command of English & Sinhala both written and spoken
- Flexible to needs of the organisation
- Willing to work on roster basis
- Hotel School qualifications will be at an advantage
- Age below 35 years
