HNB has recorded tremendous growth in the area of Corporate Banking in the recent past which the Bank intends to further develop by strengthening the team with an additional Account Relationship Manager.

Account Relationship Manager

The position of Account Relationship Manager which is a key role in the Corporate Banking Department will include the following duties & responsibilities:

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular customer visits to build strong client relationships and to follow up on potential business development opportunities
  • Strengthening existing customer business share of wallet and securing new to bank accounts
  • Ensuring the highest standards of portfolio credit quality and maintaining delinquency at record low levels
  • Working with Trade, Treasury and Payments & Cash Management support teams to offer customers a product and service solutions that is the best in the market
  • Carrying out annual facility credit reviews which entails analysing customer financial statements, understanding customer business operations and assessing customer banking requirements
  • Attending to day to day routine housekeeping and administrative tasks
  • Conducing periodic pricing reviews to ensure that income form customer relationships are at optimal level
  • Monitoring and following up utilisation of facilities
  • Cross selling the Bank's products
  • Supporting the Credit Supervision & Recoveries Department for recovery of customer overdue facilities
  • Upholding the Bank's principles and complying with all regulatory requirements


Qualifications:

  • A degree from a recognised university or an equivalent professional qualification in Accounting / Finance
  • MBA will be an advantage

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in corporate account relationship management is desired
