The following position awaits you:

Director Sales & Marketing

While reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading the sales and marketing team
• Developing marketing strategies in collaboration with the General Manager and the Corporate Sales Team at ONYX Hospitality Group
• Implementation of the sales and marketing plan
• Achieving the marketing objectives and the revenue targets
• Guiding the Marketing & Communications team in developing promotional strategies and effective communication through relevant media channels
• Regular Monitoring to ensure that the marketing plan, goals, and targets are achieved.
• Developing S&M budgets, plans and reports

The successful candidate has:

• A Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or hotel industry related post high school qualification
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a senior Marketing role in a 4-5 star hotel environment
• A charismatic personality with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate the sales & marketing and PR teams
• Strong customer relations and communication skills with an excellent command of English both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge in all facets of Sales and Marketing including Corporate and Leisure, Conference and Events, Public Relations and Promotions coupled with Food & Beverage Marketing.
