Assistant Manager - Engineering (Based in Kelaniya)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of the Utility, Tyre Building & Curing section of the plant
  • Designs, estimates and manages equipment modification and installation in the    plant
  • Able to establish technical procedure guidelines for engineering activities & standardization of process parameters
  • Handling projects and has a strong commitment towards safety
  • Participate and lead safety projects as and when needed in the field of utilities

To be successful you need to possess:

  • BSc /NDT/NDES/HNDE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in industrial electrical engineering in a manufacturing organization
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001:2008, 5S, TPM; Kaizen would be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy in MS Office packages is essential
  • Should be below 35 years
  • A positive mindset with an ability to work long hours
