Shift Executive - Quality (04 Positions)

Accountabilities:
You will be responsible to efficiently conduct quality assurance systems, standards, procedures and
ensure conformity of the garments is as per the customer specifications.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Advise / Educate quality auditors on quality standards, ensure in-line quality audits are carried out as per the instructions and maintain / update relevant records / systems in order to fulfill customer requirements as specified
• Ensure relevant quality inspection activities are carried out as specified in areas such as final /
• fabric and accepted quality levels and analyze / rectify reworks and rejects    in order to ensure
• product quality meet customer specifications
• Refer to customer specifications, inspect and approve Tops Of Production garments and other samples / new developments in order to facilitate the quality assurance process
• Pass/fail all queried batches in a timely manner, whilst ensuring that the feedback mechanism on bulk manufacture is accurate and speedy betv/een examination, and manufacturing in order to resolve key quality issues
• Ensure following shift works are within the agreed operational guidelines
• Monitoring of shift productivity and liaison with the shift manager as appropriate
• Adherence to Health and Safety considerations during all processes
• Communication of key operational issues to the shift to facilitate the teams    on problem
• Solving matters as and v/hen appropriate

Qualifications 8t Experience:

• Diploma in Textiles, Garment Technology or related field from a recognized Institute/ Technical college
• 2-3 years of relevant v/ork experience in Knitting will be an added    advantage
• Knowledge of Quality audits/ aspects and Customer standards
• Mike Certified Auditor will be added advantage
• Good Analytical skills.
• Good IT literacy.
