Manager - Human Resources

Location: Welisara

The Job:
You are responsible for the HR functions of the non-executive cadre at your respective plant. This includes administrative areas such as transport, meals, welfare and establishment issues; increments; promotions, exits etc. Your role requires effective grievance handling and escalation where appropriate. You and your team will oversee all activities related to recruitment, training and personnel operations. Further, you need to liaise with the Corporate HR team on implementations of various group policies and special projects.

The Person:
You should possess a professional qualification in HR. A degree in HR / Management field is desired with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role, whilst exposure to other aspects of apparel manufacturing would be an added advantage. You must have a thorough knowledge and experience in compliance and grievance handling. You will be detail oriented, methodical and display effective skill prioritisation. You will be proactive, assertive and forward thinker. You will possess good negotiation and excellent communication skills. You need to be a team player and have the ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation.
