Business Development Manager

You will work as a trusted and integral team member reporting directly to the CEO/MD, responsible for researching new business opportunities and finding new clients, leveraging the company reputation and your own industry contacts to the best effect.

Your responsibilities include:

• Forging and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in government agencies, regulatory bodies, investors, banks in existing and new projects
• Developing new business opportunities
• Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives
• Travel when required locally and overseas

You will need:

• A degree in Business Management and/or a professional qualification such as CIMA / CIM / ACCA as a prerequisite. An MBA would be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a business development or project management role with at least 2 years at a managerial or senior executive level
• A proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies
• Experience in risk analysis
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
