In the search of outstanding and results oriented professional to fill below position in the Internal Audit Department of Union Bank of Colombo PLC.

Officer - Audit

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits in a professional, impartial and unbiased manner and avoiding conflict of interest
• Perform all audit work with due professional care and in accordance with the standards for the professional of Internal Auditing
• Assist the Chief Manager - IA to effectively implement the Bank's Internal Audit functions as follows:
  - Conduct audit engagements according to the annual audit plan approved by the Board Audit Committee
  - Assist to prepare the draft audit reports
  - Coordinate with auditee and conduct the audit
  - Assist in conducting investigations, preparation of repots and follow up on same thereafter
  - Update audit programmes on an ongoing basis
  - Attending to administration functions of the department
  - Carryout any assignments given by the Head of Audit

Requirements:
The candidate should possess a minimum of three years' experience in a Bank / Financial institution, along with:

• Knowledge of audit related procedures and practices
• Prior experience in a similar role would be an added advantage
• Completion of CBF Level in Banking or completion of 2nd Stage in CIM / CIMA / ACCA / CA
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and willingness to travel outstation
• Should possess good analytical skills
