Project Management Internship

The internship will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to work with professional and experienced project teams. The intern will work on many on-going project which deliver mission critical business solutions to top players in the industry. The selected candidate should be professional, self-motivated with and interest in managing IT related undertakings. The candidate will have access to a self-study training library which covers many topics such as project management, quality assurance, software development, management and capital markets business domain whilst working in a cutting edge environment for one of the leading IT companies in Sri Lanka.

The Person:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Undergraduate in IT Management at a recognized university

The candidate will be required to assist project managers in the following tasks:

• Set up and manage project environments
• Set up meetings and maintain minutes
• Prepare and maintain project schedules
• Follow up project tasks and actions
• Prepare project status reports
• Prepare and maintain project financial budgets

Individual with basic financial market exposure and project management knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Duration of the internship will be 1 year
