We are looking for a Accounts Executive, to join our dynamic team.

Accounts Executive

Job Profile:

• Accounting for prepayments and maintenance of proper schedules for prepayments
• Accounting for cost items in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and group reporting policies
• Maintain proper schedules for accrued expenses and update daily payments in order to ensure the accuracy of accruals
• Carryout variance analysis for all reported costs with prior month and identify reasons for any significant fluctuations
• Prepare aging reports as at the month end to be included in the Monthly Reporting Pack
• Complete all relevant internal controls by the due dates
• Liaise with external and internal auditors

Candidate Profile:

• Should possess part qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka / CIMA or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in audit / non audit sector preferably covering the requirements of the job profile
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Standards and Principles
