Recovery Assistants - Call Centre (Head Office)

Location: Head Office

Siyapatha Finance PLC wishes to announce the above job opening which exists in the Recovery Department located in its Head Office.

Job Profile:
You are the front face of the business therefore it is important to communicate courteously with customers by telephone, letter and email. You are responsible to build a positive relationship with customers as well as investigate, respond to, and progress issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time in order to reduce the below one month arrears ratio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling recovery operations by interacting with customers on day to day basis through mails; calls; letters for outstanding payment related to recovery / collection issues
  • Achieving recovery targets in an integral part of day to day operations
  • Recording all information obtained from calls on the system and ensuring the payment status is always up to date
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Department in order to search for payment made by the customer and status of the postdated cheques
  • Coordinate with field recovery team in order to reduce the arrears
  • Assist with customer queries accurately and promptly, in a professional courteous manner

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Passed G.C.E. A/L Examination
  • Able to converse fluently in English and Sinhala languages while fair knowledge in Tamil language will be a distinct advantage
  • Being assertive, influential and persuasive
  • Previous working experience in a call centre and debt recovery environment will be an added advantage
  • Age between 20-25 years

Remuneration:
The Remuneration package is negotiable and would be in line with the applicant's experience and qualifications
