Executive - Sales & Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

• Achieve allocated sales and marketing targets by visiting customers daily and maintaining customer relationships
• Assist in developing the marketing plan of the company
• Generating new revenue streams through the close coordination with overseas clients and promotion of company activities
• Collate and share market information, competitor activities and all business related information with sales and management teams for decision making purposes
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, Principal offices and Agency network, thereby assisting the company to be the preferred choice in the industry
• Assist the Marketing team to develop an effective marketing plan by giving required market information and data in order to achieve Company budgets and to be in line with the corporate plan

Candidate Profile:

• 3 passes at the G.C.E. A/L examination
• 6 credit passes at the G.C.E. O/L examination including Mathematics and English
• 1-3 years' experience in customer service or Sales & Marketing in the Shipping Industry
• A part qualification in SLIM / CIM will be an added advantage
• Excellent command of the English and Sinhala languages
• Computer literacy with sound knowledge in MS Office packages
• A dynamic individual with a positive attitude, good inter-personal skills and the ability to work under pressure
