We are on the lookout for talented, dynamic, young software professionals with qualification an experience for a development of a mobile component based application with a supporting Oracle based backend, for the sales operation. Initial recruitment will be on a six month contract basis, during which time technical capability and performance will be assessed. Subsequently there will be an opportunity for successful candidates to join the permanent cadre.

Software Developers - PHP, Android, HTML5

Main Duties:

  • Understanding requirement, designing & preparing technical specifications
  • Developing programme components & preparing documentation
  • Performing systems testing
  • Preparing systems testing
  • Preparing test cases, assisting in user acceptance testing & sign off
  • Providing support during various phases of the implementation
  • Preparing user instructions for components developed

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in area of expertise
  • Experience in PHP, Bootstrap front end framework, AJAX, jQuery, Jasper
  • Experience in Android based development using Java / HTML5, SQLite / other databases
  • Mobile application development experience in both user interface and system / OS level
  • Knowledge / experience in data synchronisation methods REST / SOAP / JSON
  • Experience in Oracle will be an advantage
  • Understanding of coding & documentation standards, OOP programming techniques

Applicants should possess strong analytical & problem solving skills, projects management skills, and be active & participative team players with positive attitude & commitment. Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision, and extended hours if required.
