Accountant

The ideal candidates should be approximately 35 years of age and possess the G.C.E. A/L qualification. A professional qualification from CIMA / CA is also required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction company or in a similar corporate sector with hands on experience in large scale commercial construction projects is essential to perform this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, ability to work independently and ability to work within a team are key competencies sought.

A candidate with extensive experience in Project Accounting is essential for this role.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements as pre Sri Lanka Accounting Standards
• Monitoring cashflow payments
• Liaising with BOI, contractors and other government institutions
