Intern - Learning & Development

The ideal candidate will be based on MillenniumIT's People Management and Development Division. The aim of this programme is to provide dynamic young professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical challenges surrounding People Management & Development, from the basic to the latest approaches in Learning & Development.

The Job:
The selected candidate will directly report tot he Learning and Performance Management Specialist and will support the Learning and Development Executives in the team to manage operations. 

Operational tasks include:

  • Liaising with vendors for programme registration, programme scheduling and payment
  • Supporting logistical arrangements for training programmes, by coordinating the liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain training records and updating the internal database and systems in a timely manner
  • Supporting specific learning and development projects

The Person:

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resources Management
  • Sound written and oral communication skills (English & Sinhala)
  • Proficiency user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • An interest in the field of HR and the willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong, relationship building skills coupled with a service delivery attitude
