Trainee Business Development Assistants

Whilst being based in one of the Cargills Food City Outlets the candidates are expected to promote the Bank's products to the customers who are visiting the outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open savings & current accounts
• Promote & sell Bank's products and services to existing and prospective clients
• Proactively identify vicinity locations suitable for product promotions and canvassing and inform management for suitable action
• Cross sell other channel products to customer (Mobile App, SMS, e-Statements etc)
• Work closely with the Cargills Food City staff in promoting Cargills Bank products to visiting customers
• Train Cargills Food City staff on Bank products
• Participate in promotional activities and campaigns designed to canvass new and potential customers to the Bank

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Should have passed G.C.E. O/L
• Very good communication skills and have knack for Sales
• Language skills in Sinhala / Tamil or both will be an advantage
• Knowledge in using new technology devices, such as Smartphones, Mobile Apps, Tabs etc. will be advantageous
• Part completion of a certificate course in IT and or Sales & Marketing related course will be a definite plus

Salary & Benefits:

• Attractive salary with commissions on sales
