Front Office Manager

Location: Jetwing Lake, Dambulla

Qualifications:
While displaying exceptional people management skills, the individuals should possess a genuine passion to lead and work within a team. The ability to efficiently communicate in English is essential. Always open to new learning, the candidate should possess the skills to make accurate decisions while handling situations in a flexible manner.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management from a reputed Hotel School
  • 3 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • High levels of Computer literacy
  • Exposure to Reservation systems and digital marketing
  • Ability to speak foreign languages will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Front Office associates for check-in, check-out and provide guest assistance ensuring compliance with all Front Office and Hotel polices, procedures and standards to the satisfaction of guests needs
  • Utilise interpersonal and communication skills to manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Front Office
  • Maintain a high level of communication among team members, ensuring they are up to date with required information to provide an exceptional service
  • Handling all Customer queries and complaints at the satisfactory Company Standards
  • Work together with Reservation associates at the Corporate office to maximise room occupancy and promote other services and facilities offered at the hotel
  • Implement strategies focused on cost minimisation, productivity maximisation with no impact on Quality and Service standards
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling to meet forecasted occupancy
  • Analyse and evaluate necessary information to develop and improve Front Office operations
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the overall hotel operations are efficiently managed
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning of the Department
  • Assist in HR activities of the Team - Recruitment, Training and Development
