Accountant

Job Profile:

• Responsible for Financial Accounting and Management Information pack within the timelines
• Monitor the accurate of all GL entires
• Supervise payment process and ensure the accuracy
• Reconciliation of supplier balances with advances paid, exchange differences, PO and Invoice differences, Inter-Company balances etc with relevant staff in the Company
• Coordinate with different departments and Companies to get all required information to run daily accounting functions smoothly
• Monitor monthly SVAT / ESC / NBT reconciliations

Candidate Profile:

• CASL finalist / newly qualified Chartered Accountant
• Degree in Accounting / Finance will be considered favourably
• Sound knowledge on ERP system and / or Accounting package. Working experience in SAP is definite advantage
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Good knowledge on Sri Lanka Accounting Standards / Taxation and practical applications
• Age Level - Below 30 years is preferred
• Preference will be given to those are residing Horana / Kaluthara / Panadura / Mathugama areas
