Credit Card Sales Manager

The Job:

• Develop strategies / Sales plan and ensure attainment of sales goals and profitability
• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets by segments, projecting expected sales volume and profitability to existing and new card projects
• Implement national sales programmes by developing sales action products
• Implement national sales programmes by developing sales action plans
• Achieve sales volume & product mix by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and overall bank direction
• Maintain national sales staff by recruiting selecting, orienting and training
• Motivate and lead the sales team to achieve set goals / targets
• Manage sales staff results by counselling; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Establish personal network organisations, societies, high net-worth individuals and maintain databases of potential consumer bases

The Person:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in Sales and Marketing of which at least 3 years at a Managerial Level preferably in the Banking / Financial Sector
• Proven leadership skills and ability to plan and Implement sales strategy
• Excellent communication skills
