Senior Executive - Customer Care

Prerequisites:

  • Having part or full qualification in relation to Insurance, Marketing or Business Management
  • Previous experience in the same field will be an added advantage
  • Possess excellent Communication Skills in English / Sinhala is a must (spoken and written)
  • Communication skill in Tamil language will be an added advantage
  • Good Educational background, preferably 3 passes at G.C.E. A/L
  • Excellent Computer Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a pleasing personality and be able to work Independently & In teams
  • Fluency in Social Media
  • Excellent PR Skills and Customer Management Skills
  • Willingness and ability to work on shift basis including weekends as well
  • Should be between 20-27 (Male / Female)
  • A confident outgoing personality who understands the customer and the requirements

Job Scope:
Primary Responsibilities (Are responsibilities that are vital for your role):

  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build relationships of trust through open and interactive communication & take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the system
  • Meet personal / team sales targets
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Open insurance accounts and maintain records of customer interactions, policy details and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions & suggest information about other products and services
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction to resolution
  • Excellent team player

Secondary Responsibilities (Are tasks that are required to accomplish your primary responsibilities):

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resources
  • Maintain & develop excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy & stress tolerance
  • Be prompt in troubleshooting
