Financial Controller

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Minimum 10 years experience in accounting and finance principles and practices.
• Finance and accounting experience in the construction / real estate and/or hospitality industry.
• Good values and a high degree of integrity.
• Good teamwork skills and a result oriented individual.

Responsibilities:

• Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s finances including the development and implementation of financial guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Experience in controlling the finance of a Residential Sales Project will be an advantage.
• Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control.
• Responsible for treasury activities of the company, including review and negotiation of financing odcuments and loan administration.
• to develop and control a centralized accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed.
• Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information.
• Liaise with the bank on project account to be maintained for collection of residential sale proceeds.
• Develop and manage the Company’s risks, through legal, insurance and other means.
