Tele Sales Executive

DHL Global Forwarding Sri Lanka is looking for an energetic, passionate Tele Sales Executive to help us grow the locally controlled portion of our Sri Lankan business.

Some background knowledge in General Freight Forwarding, Ocean Freight, Airfreight, Customs, Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution is preferred... but not essential.

The most important characteristics are the ability to:

• Prove your sales impact and show your passion for selling
• Talk and present with confidence
• High degree of self-confidence, initiative and commitment

Specific Role Responsibilities:

• Seek and prospect to win new Small Business customers
• Plan and manage small Business Customers
• Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer's business and the market via phone, email and other communication channels
• Assess the type and size of customer needs
• Recommend solutions based on customer's needs by using industry knowledge / expertise
• Close business connecting a customer need with a DHL solution and highlighting the value it may create for the customer
• Support customer retention by regular calls to ensure service satisfaction, providing information useful to the customer and introducing additional services to the customer
• Completely use DGF CRM
• Transfer opportunity with high value potential to FSE / KAM's

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 3-5 Years of successful track record plus CIM qualification
• PC literate, excellent organisational, communication incl. telephone and writing skills
