Marketing Executives (Team Leaders)

The selected candidate will be required to manage a sales team & will be responsible to drive them towards the achievements of the set targets.

The Job:

• Keeping the overall department objectives in mind, plan activities by motivating & directing the sales staff to achieve the monthly team targets
• Support & improve sales staff performance by coaching & knowledge sharing
• Continuously train & develop the sales staff
• Be responsible for the team member performances & service levels
• Proactively handle customer complaints & service issues
• Develop & maintain relationships with top corporates, professional bodies & key segments
• Maintain accurate & up-to-date business activity & performance trackers

The Person:

• Minimum of 7 years' experiences in Sales & Marketing, preferably in the Banking / Financial sector, 2 years experience in handling teams would be an added advantage
• Proven leadership & communication skills
• Full or part qualification in CIM / SLIM or a relevant degree would be advantageous
• Good team player who can work under pressure

Selected candidate will be placed in the appropriate grade and remuneration scale based on the level of knowledge and experience.

Marketing Officers

The Job:

• Prepare and implement sales action plans
• Achieve the individual set targets
• Generate and quality leads and maintain a customer database
• Assist in organising Marketing campaigns at corporate entities
• Prepare and present periodic sales visit reports and reports
• Actively participate in bank organising events to promote business

The Person:

• G.C.E. O/L with passes for Math and English and 2 passes at G.C.E. A/L
• Self-motivated, outgoing personally with a strong sense of networking and relationship skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, Sinhala / Tamil
• Part qualification in SLIM or equivalent is an advantage
• Below 25 years of age
• Willingness to travel
• Flair for sales & the ability to uncover customer needs to provide appropriate solutions

Training and an attractive remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate

The selected candidate will be placed on contract basis.
