Human Resources Manager

Maintain and enhance the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programmes, and best practices.

Job Overview:

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Maintains organisation staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing programme, counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analysing exit interviews; recommending changes
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programmes
  • Scheduling and conducting job evaluations
  • Ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors
  • Maintains employee benefits programmes and informs employees of benefits by studying and assembling benefits needs and trends; recommending benefit programmes to management
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources requirements
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures
  • Maintains historical resource records by designing a filling and filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records; Maintain up to date information on hSenid HRIS
  • Completes human resources operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Maintains human resources staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintains human resources staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Representing the organisation in various events such as career fairs, university events, SLASS COM etc

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification / Masters would be an added advantage
  • 3+ years of experience in a Managerial level position
  • Positive attitude along with good communication skills
