Senior Executive - HR (Recruitment)

Overall purpose of the position:
Develop recruitment strategies in support of organisational staffing objectives. Executives recruiting strategies to deliver suitable candidates for assigned positions on time.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain and identify recruitment requirements by evaluating organisational development plans, conferring with management and layout
  • effective recruiting plans and strategies to meet the demand
  • Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs, college recruitment programmes, etc. Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates.
  • Pre-screen job candidates, review resumes and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers
  • Develop and manage applicant tracking system, applicant database, maintain recruiting metrics (cost per hire etc)
  • PRoduce various recruitment related analysis and reports

Key Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Knowledge of general principles & recruitments
  • 4 years of recruiting experience in a similar industry
  • Fluency in English, Sinhala & Tamil languages will  be an added advantage
  • Should be well organised, self-motivated and driven individual with a people oriented personality
  • Ability to take initiatives and work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to establish rapport with relevant clients such as, job agencies, advertising firms, hiring managers, candidates etc

Other Requirements:
This position required much travelling and networking. Having an own mode of transportation will be an added advantage.
