Interns: IT Support

We urgently require dynamic, IT savvy individuals to join our global IT support team to strengthen our presence in the Sri Lanka and Global clientele. You will be based at our Global Network Operations Centre in Colombo. You will work in an ISO 20000 certified environment and your primary task is to deliver our managed IT services to customers in Sri Lanka and worldwide. Eventually you will also have a chance of becoming a proud member of our Network Operations Centre.

You will gain invaluable business exposure as part of a leading IT Company with strong local and international client base while working in an ITIL based infrastructure support platform. To be suitable for this position you need to be a candidate with an excellent academic record, a first class or second upper degree in Computer Science / Networking, and the right attitude. If selected, you can expect an excellent remuneration package, and your upward progress is limited only by your ambition.

Details of the Internship:

  • The Role works within both standard working hours and 24x7 shift based operations.
  • A monthly allowance of Rs. 10,000/= will be paid during the internship period.
  • Duration of internship period is 6 Months (Monthly Renewable)
  • Transport will be provided for 24x7 shift based operations staff.
  • In-house Technical trainings and exams.
  • Handling Desktop, MAC and Server related consumer issues worldwide.
  • Handling ISO 20000 and ITIL processes and procedures.
  • Exposure to world class remote management tools and technologies.

Mandatory Qualifications and Personal Skills:

  • Passionate about building the career in IT Infrastructure management and Troubleshooting.
  • First class or second upper degree in Computer Science / Networking from a recognised university.
  • The right attitude.
  • Fluent in English Language
  • Good interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with all levels of professionals.
  • Good decision-making, IT, and communication skills.
